Injectable Wrinkle Treatments  and dermal filler treatments for removing facial lines are available now. You will be expertly treated by our experienced friendly doctor.

It seems that everyone is talking about Injectable Wrinkle Treatments , the highly effective, non-surgical procedure that can dramatically reduce even your toughest wrinkle within seven days. It has been reported in the news, fashion, health and beauty magazines, and on TV. Perhaps you’ve heard about it from your friends and you want to know more. You want the whole story before you decide if Injectable Wrinkle Treatments and dermal fillers are right for you.

Treatments are carried out after full consultation, in a safe clinical setting. We offer a simple, structured, therapeutic plan to restore and enhance the appearance of your skin, using some of the safest and most effective therapies available anywhere.

Ageing, smoking and sunlight can all be contributing factors that weaken the fibres in our skin. Lines that appear on the face are a consequence of this change. Treatment can now offer a way to restore a more youthful look. An easy, instant and safe way to smooth out those lines and wrinkles and give you back the confidence of a younger look. Facial injections were first used to treat patients in 1976. Since then, many millions of people worldwide have been treated with either Botox or fillers. Facial Aesthetics is one of the fastest growing specialties in modern clinical practice.

Before & After Photos

Facial aesthetics

Facial treatments can be divided into two main types…

1. Hibernation treatments using Botox

Using Botox for the muscles of facial expression (Frown, forehead and lines around eyes)

Botox injections can be used to make the muscles that cause unwanted wrinkles to hibernate. Injections take effect within 3-10 days.

2. Facial Contouring (Fillers)

To fill out lines around the face using Beletero or Radiesse.
Beletero or Radiesse can correct lines and wrinkles, as well as enhance lips and cheeks. With a series of light injections your skin is supported and flattened to give a smoother, softer look.

Beletero or Radiesse are natural substances found in the skin, so all you are doing is restoring natural elements of your skin. The effect is instant and can easily be completed within half an hour.

Dynamic wrinkles are caused by contractions of the delicate underlying facial muscles every time you smile, laugh or frown. The more emotion you show, the deeper these wrinkles and lines are likely to be. While you may have earned every one of your worry lines, you don’t have to show them anymore.

Botox injections can reduce the appearance of worry lines, frown lines, laugh lines, crow’s feet and other dynamic wrinkles.

Fillers – Frequently Asked Questions

‘Facial Contouring’. Expand the Questions below for more information.

How is contouring treatment performed?

A series of small injections of Beletero or Radiesse can fill out lines and facial furrows. Pre-testing is not required. The results can last from 3- 12 months for Beletero and 18-24 months for Radiesse.

What is Beletero?

Beletero is a gel made from the natural substance, Hylauronan, that is injected just below the skin surface to replace the collagen and hylauronan layers that have deteriorated. Since Beletero is based on natural hylauronan, your body biologically accepts it as its own. Beletero also mimics the same hydrating and lifting effect of hylauronan, which keeps the skin hydrated and elastic.

Do the injections hurt?

You may find that the injections are slightly uncomfortable. For this reason topical anaesthetic gel is sometimes used, and sometimes an anaesthetic injection.

How will my skin look and feel immediately after treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, there may be a slight redness, swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. The inconvenience is temporary and generally disappears in a day or two. Most patients feel comfortable in resuming their normal activities following treatment. Temporary puffiness of the treated areas, however, should be expected.

What can I expect after lip treatment?

The initial swelling after lip treatment may last longer than other treatments. Some patients experience swelling for about a week and the lips can look somewhat uneven during this time. This means that the result directly after treatment should not be seen as the final result. Please tell the doctor if you have previously suffered from facial cold sores as the treatment may contribute to a further eruption.

What other special precautions are necessary?

All facial injections should be used with caution in people on immuno-suppressive therapy and in people with a history of allergic reactions. Be sure to tell us of any allergies you may have, and any medicines or treatment you are currently taking. You must understand and appreciate the risk of temporary bruising, which occasionally can be unpredictable. If you are using aspirin, or any similar medication, be aware that these may increase the bruising and bleeding at the injection site. If needed you should use Paracetamol for pain relief.

After dental anaesthetic blocks your face and lips will feel strange and swollen the evening of the injection. Facial injections are not advisable during pregnancy or lactation. Although the material is generally not visibly distinguishable from the surrounding skin, some patients have reported that they were initially able to feel the outline of the injected material.

Occasionally the injected collagen can be visible in the skin, in the form of a small raised or white area in the treatment site, which may persist from a few weeks to several months. However, as the new material is incorporated into your own skin, the treatment site takes on the natural look and feel of healthy skin.

Can facial injections take the place of surgical procedures such as face-lifts and dermabrasion?

No. Injectable filler treatments are not meant for people who have excess facial skin, or for those who want a major resurfacing of the skin.

Does the correction last forever?

No. Top up injections will be needed to maintain maximum correction. Because Beletero or Radiesse are so similar to your own skin they will be altered by the same ongoing mechanical forces that caused the original skin depressions.

How often will I need a top up injection?

The time between injections varies from person to person. The injected material will eventually be absorbed and broken down, and that is why you need ongoing treatment to maintain the look you want. If you choose not to continue treatment, any remaining material is simply absorbed by your body over time, and your skin gradually returns to its natural contours.

Most patients who choose to receive top ups for lines or furrows do so within 3 to 24 months of the original treatment. For scars, and deeper depressions the time between top ups may be longer. Top up injections will help you maintain your correction and can provide a long-term solution to skin contour problems.
